I received my pencils in a timely manner. I find that in trying to sharpen them, that they sharpen dis-evenly , and sometimes the point just falls off when I line my eyes, causing a lot of waste, because it takes a lot off the pencil to re-sharpen it.
 they cost way to much 2 pencils for 20.00. They must have been old , they broke July 26, 2010

The pencils cost way to much at 10.00 a piece. The pencils broke and broke when i tried to sharpen them. They must have been old.

My grandma has used this color eye brow pencil for years, but recently the color "charcoal grey" was not in stores anymore. My Gram had everyone looking for this color at stores for her...we found out that the color charcoal grey was discontinued.:-(
But then I decided to check Amazon for the pencils and I found them here. She was very happy to hear that. :-)
I have to say that I was a little shocked at the price of this particular color...it was the highest by far compared to the other colors still available. I think that is unfair when the other colors are like 2.99-3.99 for 2 eye brow pencils...and the charcoal grey is 19.99. That is quite a difference...so I may be happy that I found it for my Grandma...I am upset that she had to pay that much more for her favorite color eye brow pencil.

This is the letter I sent to Maybelline tonight - perhaps if enough of us write to them with our complaints it will accomplish something!
It seems that Maybelline does NOT listen to the complaint of many MANY women who are looking for the Expert Eyes Twin Brow Pencils in Charcoal Grey #59TC-06. A great majority of us "Baby Boomers" are now of an age where black, brown and a regular charcoal grey color is too dark and too harsh for our changing skin and our changing hair color. This was a staple for many many years - and tonight the only place you can find ANY is on ebay - to the tune of $50 for FOUR pencils - two 2packs! That is a sad state of affairs for women like myself who have used these for years. At the age of 60, I dare say I have used your products for at least 40 years, and even remember when you had black eyeliner in a hard, round container where you wet the brush and made the eyeliner liquid. I have tried many other kinds, and bought 2 of another brand tonight called taupe which should have been called invisible, because it did NOTHING for my brows. If your market research people went and typed in this color for these pencils and read how many women are literally PLEADING for this color to return, you would realize the great disservice you have performed for us. In this day and time, when many cosmetic companies would love to have the following you have enjoyed for years, it seems you would be trying to make the aging women who have kept coming back for 40 years happy, instead of doing this 'new and improved' nonsense and leaving us all to find other things to use. I have spent a goodly amount for cosmetics - from the cheapest to the very expensive in the last several years, and when I have found something that works the way I want, I come back to it - but now you have made that impossible. I would hope that you would recall that the vast majority of us WERE teens - many years ago, found good reliable products that we expected would take us into our older years, and now find that because we are no longer among this 'new demographic' of 13 - 20, we are summarily dismissed - even tho it was OUR money which you relied on for all these years. Please reconsider making this charcoal grey for all the over 40 people who were used to relying on your product, instead of leaving us floundering with 10 different brow pencils, none of which are giving acceptable results. Thank you - from myself and thousands of the Baby Boomer Generation - and probably more yet who are older than we.
