| • | The Avent Niplette is a non-invasive device developed for the permanent correction of flat or inverted nipples. The kit contains 2 thimble shaped molds with valve components, two plastic syringes to be used as a suction device to treat both nipples. The Avent Niplette is worn for eight hours a day and keeps constant suction on the nipple to keep it protruded. This device is the most aggressive treatment available for flat or inverted nipples, and is much more effective than Breast Shells for inverted nipples. (May be used through the seventh month of pregnancy under the consultation of your doctor.) It can't be used for permanent correction while lactating because the milk produced during lactation will nullify the seal and effectiveness of the Avent Niplette, but it can be used for a few minutes before latching the baby on to help draw out the nipple. If you are currently pregnant, please inform your obstetrician that you are using the device. The use of the Niplette should not exceed three months, unless after that time, it is only used occasionally to keep the results. |

I found this product by accident I was never happy with my flat nipples because I am a bit of a show off for my husband I always wanted to surprise my husband with some nipple jewerly that is not pierced but with flat nipples that was not possible now that I found this product and am into my 2nd. week plus I am starting to see results I do use a nipple cream to help with the seal and use them all day I have good bras so they do not show I am so happy now that I can start to use nipple jewerly to please my husband very very happy

I have been using this product for one month. I do not have inverted nipples, but they are flat. I am preparing for pregnancy and nursing and wanted to try the Niplette for this reason. My nipples are definitely larger, though not huge. They decrease in size if I do not regularly wear the product, but they seem to be permanently sticking out where before they were flat. I found some discomfort when I first began wearing them but it went away after a couple of days. I do have fluid leaking from my nipples when I wear these, but it is not painful or bothersome. I wear neosporin or vaseline to help tighten the seal when I wear the Niplettes. I wear them during the day because they do not stay on in my sleep. I wear them to work with a tight fitting bra. I experiment with different bras and tops so that the product doesn't show through my clothes. I am able to wear them comfortably for several hours with many different shirts. I take a syringe with me in case the Niplette comes off during the day. When I get home, I take the Niplettes off and sleep without them. Sometimes I take a couple of days off wearing them to allow my skin to rest if my nipples seem too irritated. Overall, I find the product easy to use and comfortable and it does what it says it will do: enlarges my nipples. The other issues I can deal with because I know it is temporary. I will wear these for the recommended 3 months. One other thing, it helps to take the Nipplettes apart and wash and rinse them when the tubes fill with fluids.

I have two kids and am pregnant with my third. I had the hardest time nursing both of my children. With my first, my nipples were so flat, she couldn't latch and with my second, he had such a hard time latching, that my nipple became dimpled so badly that I couldn't get it to stay out. With this baby, I wanted to be proactive, so nursing would be easier this time around. I asked my LC for help and she suggested this product. It is a miracle product!!!!! I can't believe how well it worked. I have been using it for a few weeks and my nipple comes out much more easily and I think if I use it a little longer, it might even stay out permanently. I know this will make nursing so much easier and I'm thrilled. I wear it under my clothes and at night (sometimes it falls off at night if I don't wear a nursing or shelf tank though). I can hardly tell it's there anymore and it's pretty discreet. It is also easy to use. If you have flat, inverted or dimpled nipples, I definitely suggest trying this product before or while pregnant. I think it will make a huge difference. The best price I could find for this was on Amazon.

I first saw this product on "The Doctors." I've been using this product for almost a month now and I can tell you it works. I needed this when I was trying to breast feed my daughter 30 years ago. I have always been bothered by my inverted nipples. I felt they were unattractive to my husband. I am using this now as a cosmetic correction.
One thing you must remember when using this product is to use the nipple cream - I just bought some at the drug store. It is lanolin and helps to keep the niplettes attached. Without the cream you will have trouble keeping them in place and it prevents soreness. I tried wearing them at night but found it bothered my sleep. I bought some breast pads (2 come with the kit) and I wear them in the daytime even to work. One nipple is always out of hiding and the other is slowly staying out for longer periods of time after I remove the niplettes. I am sure that by the time I have worn them for the specified time I will be well pleased with the results.
