5 out of 5 stars Just buy this - you won't be sorry!   August 18, 2010
Iona Selidor (Sun Diego)

Several months ago I spent a lot of money on a pizza peel and pizza stone. The results were a disaster! Kitchen filled with smoke, alarms going off, and pizza burned to a crisp and black on the bottom. Wish I had seen this set before that. This pan and dough recipe make GREAT pizza! Just remember to cut the salt. The recipe inexplicably calls for 2 Tbsp - way too much! Probably should be 2 teaspoons, but I use only one and it turns out fine. I also rub a couple of Tbsp of olive oil on the bottom of the pan. That way the crust will bake a golden brown and won't stick to the pan. Easy cleanup, too. The pan and spatula are heavyweight - nice quality. I still use the pizza stone - underneath this pan. No smoke, no alarms, no more black pizza. Life is good again!

5 out of 5 stars really great!   June 17, 2010

I actually purchased this as a gift for my parents, and it's a great set. When you compare pricing it's actually one of the cheaper deep dish pan's I was able to find plus it comes with receipes and other items needed. For the money it's a great deal. So how does it do at making deep dish pizzas? Really good, crust came out perfect, just the right crispness, cooked evenly and nothing was burned. Cleanup was a breeze. This really is a great set and I recommend it for anyone in the market for a deep dish pizza pan even if you don't need the extra's it comes with.

4 out of 5 stars The included dough recipe has a very bad error   January 21, 2010

The hardware is sturdily built - worth the money. The included pamphlet has a recipe for dough that calls for 2 Tablespoons of salt (that's 1/8 cup). It has to be an error because that amount of salt would make the dough taste horrible and be very unhealthy. Doughs typically have more like 1/2 to 1 Teaspoon of salt.

quality pan and spatula. both heavy material. the large item in back is just the box it comes in. the menu looking thing on the left are the pizza recipes (and dough), laminated.

4 out of 5 stars Great pan, lifter and pizza - but dough recipe way too salty...   December 23, 2009

Love it all, save the Uno dough recipe that came with the set - it calls for 2 Tbsp. salt, which rendered the pizza inedible. Probably meant 2 Tsp. but can't be certain...
